Clément Lignon and Jérôme Molénat, both employees of the EDF Group, are leading the Hedgencia project. They have just joined the MATCH phase of the EDF Pulse Incubation entrepreneurial programme in order to accelerate the development of their solution.
Hedgencia is a solution that helps businesses and local authorities control their energy budgets by taking a risk management approach to energy purchasing. Designed by Clément and Jérôme in response to price volatility, it enables their clients to define and implement a purchasing strategy consistent with the level of risk acceptable to each organisation.
Thanks to an online platform and EDF's expertise in energy risk management, Clément and Jérôme aim to provide a clear framework, indicators and scenarios to secure their clients' budget trajectories in the long term.
EDF Pulse Incubation: support in four stages
Clément and Jérôme have just entered the ‘MATCH’ phase, the second stage of the EDF Pulse Incubation entrepreneurial programme. This gives them access to innovative working methods and expert support to explore the feasibility of their project and test customer demand.
After a few months, their project will be evaluated by a board made up of EDF group stakeholders in order to move on to the next stage: the ‘TEST’ phase.
