(3) Source: EDF – February 2025 – Estimated average savings on heating: 50% to 70% reduction in annual heating consumption, equivalent to up to 45% savings on the heating budget (specifically, up to 37% on gas and up to 45% on fuel oil) by replacing an end-of-life gas or oil boiler with an air-to-water heat pump. Savings including VAT, calculated over the past three years for a customer in a moderately insulated single-family home with an average heating need of 15 MWh/year, based on the following rates: regulated tariff Base option (electricity), CRE benchmark price (gas), and SDES data (fuel oil). Heating period from October 1 to May 1. Savings may vary regularly depending on economic and regulatory conditions.
