EDF Pulse Incubation, our intrapreneurship programme
EDF Pulse Incubation is an incubator for EDF Group employees (including subsidiaries) to develop new businesses and accelerate the energy transition. We invest in those who have the courage to commit themselves to shaping the world of tomorrow.
What does the programme offer?
A dedicated space
The incubator is open to all employees and allows them to experiment with new businesses in start-up mode up to their industrialisation.
A signposted and formative path
Every 3 months, projects are evaluated on the basis of objective criteria (technical and commercial feasibility, business plan, prototypes, etc.) with governance involving the EDF Group's businesses, and are given a Go/No Go.
A number of experts and experienced entrepreneurs (venture builders) help them to go from the idea to the creation of a start-up or a business unit.
Support in 3 stages
Explore the project’s commercial and technical feasibility as well as customer desirability.
Prototype the service or product and develop a pricing policy. This step is an opportunity to test the business model with prospects.
* Proof of Concept.
Test the prototype with a panel of customers, develop the market launch strategy, and draw up the 5-year business plan.
