Founded by EDF in 2008, the MAI is a global research hub that brings together leading nuclear operators, vendors and research centers to address ageing of materials in power plants. By sharing data, experience and modelling, MAI anticipates ageing and degradation processes and enhances the durability of nuclear components and structures. Together, the MAI members are supporting safer, longer-lasting nuclear energy worldwide.
