Renewal of the Partnership with Naval Group for Another Five Years!

EDF and Naval Group, a strategic R&D partner of EDF, have been collaborating for many years on a wide range of topics of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of energy, additive manufacturing, two-phase flow modelling, electrochemical energy storage and fire simulation, among others.

For many years, this partnership has been governed by framework agreements, establishing a long-term relationship built on trust.

As the current framework agreement was due to expire in 2022, both parties decided to renew it for the 2022–2027 period. The renewal took place at the annual steering committee meeting held in Chatou on 20 May 2022.

The steering committee is chaired by Jean-Paul CHABARD, Scientific Director of EDF R&D, and Eric PAPIN, Group Technical & Quality Director and Director of Innovation and Technological Expertise at Naval Group.
