For the 3rd edition of the of the EDF Pulse internal awards, EDF has launched a brand new participatory innovation challenge, the "EDF Pulse Idea" award, open to all Group employees.
To invite all employees to express their creativity as ambassadors for the Group in order to simplify life at the company.
Behind all innovation there is always an idea. This is why EDF has launched a participatory innovation platform to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship and reward visionary employees from the Group's various business lines. Visual recap.
330 ideas were put forward by 584 employees from 22 Group entities, five of which are abroad. A real success! In February, they were presented to a panel of innovation managers from the EDF Group: 20 ideas were chosen.
Here are some of the most popular proposals: "an office close to home" offering an alternative between the office and remote working with the creation of digitised and sustainable local offices on the outskirts of major cities.
Others proposed innovative internal training programmes, with the development of MOOC in the company's internal network, or the creation of an "Actors for EDF" group, bringing together the staff's actors and performers for the various internal photo and video shoots. An innovative idea to revitalise life at the company!
The next step
On 16 March, the 4 finalist ideas for the June awards will be selected by a panel of executives from each of the Group's divisions and subsidiaries. After receiving the award, the winner will receive support for the development of the idea within the Group, particularly at La Chocolaterie in Paris. To be continued!
