The French Association of Companies for the Environment (EpE), created in 1992, brings together some sixty major French and international companies from all sectors of the economy, committed to the ecological transition. The International Weather and Climate Forum (FIM) is a flagship event for raising awareness of climate issues. Its purpose is to bring together a wide range of stakeholders: the general public, scientists, decision-makers, French and international weather journalists, etc. [Read more +]
Corporate Leaders Groups (CLG) Europe *
CLG Europe brings together business leaders and decision-makers who are committed to a transition to competitive, sustainable and inclusive economies that will produce net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Through the exchange of ideas with policymakers and peers, groups of business leaders advocate for robust business and policy solutions to address the environmental and sustainability challenges facing our planet. European Roundtable on Climate Change and Sustainable Transition (ERCST) *
The European Roundtable on Climate Change and Sustainable Transition (ERCST) is a Brussels-based think tank, co-financed in equal parts by the DEA (notably on the topics of the ETS, the European greenhouse gas market) and the Impact Directorate (in particular on the Green Claim Directive, the integration of carbon sinks and carbon credits in the 2040 target and in the ETS). French Committee of the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature)
The IUCN French Committee is the network of organizations and experts of the International Union for Conservation of Nature in France; it constitutes a unique platform for exchanges and actions to respond to the challenges of biodiversity. [Read more +]
National Museum of Natural History (MNHN)
As part of this scientific partnership, EDF and the MNHN, through its PatriNat service, are pooling their skills to optimise their work in the field of biodiversity. [Read more +]
Federation of Conservatories of Natural Areas (FCEN)
The Federation of Conservatories of Natural Areas federates the 23 regional Conservatories of Natural Areas whose mission is the preservation of nature, species, environments and landscapes. In particular, they develop actions for scientific knowledge, land control, site management and awareness-raising. The FCEN is also working on the development of low-carbon label methods. Federation of National Botanical Conservatories (FCBN)
The partnership between the FCBN and EDF focuses on the challenges of revegetating spaces, based on the use of local plants. This concerns primarily the redevelopment of spaces, construction sites, and facilities in deconstruction. [Read more +]
League for the Protection of Birds (LPO)
The LPO aims to promote actions in favour of nature and biodiversity, and EDF supports the actions of the LPO on several projects. [Read more +]
Nature Festival
EDF has been a partner of this event since its creation. Each year, the company organises visits to make nature known near its facilities, in conjunction with local stakeholders. [Read more +]
Nantes University | Chaire maritime
EDF is one of the founding sponsors of the Maritime Chair of the Nantes University Foundation. This program is dedicated to the production and sharing of an original reflection on the dynamics of human activities at sea. After an initial phase from 2019 to 2023, the Chair has been renewed for 2025-2030. [Read more +]
Waves of Change
Waves of Change is a coalition whose purpose is to work concretely to make cities, territories and coastal ecosystems more resilient and sustainable through a cooperative sustainable development approach combining innovation and preservation through a network of public and private actors from various commercial and non-commercial sectors. National School of Landscape Design
The Ecole nationale supérieure de paysage is a public institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture. It trains landscape designers. In a context where public action is making the energy transition a major political priority, the Ecole nationale supérieure de paysage sets up a training, research-action and creation system on the contribution of landscape to the treatment of this issue. Ashoka France contributes to structuring and developing social entrepreneurship as a force for transformation, by identifying Social Entrepreneurs with social innovation and helping them to scale up. EDF and Ashoka France have strengthened their joint commitment against fuel poverty by launching an innovative partnership with CRÉSUS. This partnership aims to prevent and fight against the over-indebtedness of households exposed to energy poverty. [Read more +]
Le Think & Do Tank "Acting for Equality" Marie Claire regularly brings together experts, associations, players from the business world and public authorities who want to make parity a reality. The CSR Observatory is a multi-stakeholder organization that supports CSR strategies in companies. [Read more +]
Global Compact Network France *
The United Nations Global Compact offers its members a framework for voluntary commitment built on the basis of 10 principles, taken from the United Nations' fundamental texts, to be respected in terms of human rights, labour law, the environment and the fight against corruption.
