Since summer 2016, the EDF Pulse Price are exported: the United Kingdom has also its innovation challenge brought by EDF Energy. And startups can engage in one of the 4 challenges available!
The EDF Pulse awards have had “ babies”. Following the success of the prices launched in France in 2013, a new innovation competition, EDF Energy Pulse, is launched today in the UK. Its purpose? To always provide quality support to start-ups that help to shape our future, and especially from those who engage in the energy sector. "Today we are at a very exciting crossroads where we have fantastic possibilities to innovate and transform the relationship of citizens and customers to energy," says Jean-Benoît Ritz, director of the Blue innovation Lab accelerator EDF Energy.
Driven by EDF Energy since August 2016, EDF Pulse Price UK offer specific challenges in four categories: the smart home, youth and science, the data for health and safety, and management solutions for energy infrastructure:
For Xavier Mamo, Director of Research and Development at EDF Energy, these contests are essential to the proper functioning of the company and seeing them grow internationally is great news. "EDF has always had a strong tradition of promoting innovation. These awards organized by EDF Energy will help us to work with an even wider range of experts and get new perspectives to address the challenges which will face our futures industry. " Participants of the EDF Energy Pulse prices have until September to submit their plans for the future.
