Description de l'offre

Under the hierarchical responsibility of the EM2 Installation manager and deputy construction manager to whom he/she reports, the package manager is responsible for the execution of the works associated with package EM2.1:

-       Installation of primary supports,

-       Installation of heavy components (Vessel, Steam Generator, PZR) and finishing,

-       Installation and TIG welding of primary system,

-       Installation and welding of the PZR surge line,

-       Preparation of primary system for functional testing,

in compliance with the safety and security rules, quality and project schedule applicable on site, while ensuring compliance with local labor regulations.

Functional interfaces with the other units of the EM2 site (QC, methods, planning, logistics, H&S), the head office engineering and project units, AREVA site (QA, H&S) and customer supervision or safety authorities.

 

Main responsibilities:

Coordinating the activities of the teams placed at his/her disposal to perform the tasks included within his/her scope of work, including the supervision of subcontracted tasks.

Interfacing with the engineering departments and suppliers (in conjunction with the site methods unit) to resolve any technical problems encountered during the erection phase.

Ensuring that the schedule is achievable with the available resources. Taking the necessary measures to complete the works on time and to the required level of quality.

Anticipating manpower shortfalls or surpluses according to the overall site bar-chart.

Putting forward proposals for earlier completion or rescheduling of the works.

Anticipating and centralizing requests for equipment, consumables and logistical resources necessary for future erection operations to his/her package leader.

Weekly reporting on all his/her activities to the construction manager.

Reporting technical, material or physical contingencies to the construction manager or deputy construction manager,

Ensuring familiarity and compliance with the administrative and H&S rules on his/her sites and by all the personnel (expatriate, local or subcontracted) at his/her disposal.

Checking the timekeeping records of the personnel for his/her package before transmission to the EM2 Installation manager.

Centralizing and formalizing all information liable to provide feedback in order to improve our erection operations.

Profil souhaité

Educational Basics :

·       Bachelor degree

  

General engineer specializing in mechanical (or electromechanical) engineering or operation manager with proven experience having extensive experience of mechanical erection and of heavy components, including lifting, in nuclear power plants (new build or heavy maintenance (e.g. steam generator replacement),

Knowledge of welding required,

Ability to manage a team of over forty people (expatriates and local personnel) and subcontractors with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

Well developed organizational and methodological skills.

Ability to communicate (both internally and with the project or engineering groups or the customer and suppliers) and well developed didactic skills.

 

Fluency in English essential.
