CLIMATIC TESTS FOR EDVANCE

Edvance called on the large climatic room of EDF Power Networks Lab to perform qualification tests on nuclear cabinets.
At the end of 2020, EDF Power Networks Lab carried out qualification tests on electrical cabinets intended for the nuclear industry for Edvance company. The tests sequences consisted in damp heat tests, under voltage, as well as prolonged hot operation tests, at various temperatures and under various levels of electrical load.
For these severe conditions, the client needed a large-volume climatic chamber, capable of varying temperature and humidity, coupled with a power source that could rise high in terms of power.
Edvance also specifies that EDF Power Networks Lab was the only laboratory able to guarantee compliance with the required requirements, and appreciated the responsiveness of the EDF Power Networks Lab teams.
