Nathalie Pivet began her professional career in 1988 with the auditing firm Salustro. In 1993, she joined a subsidiary of Compagnie Générale des Eaux specializing in waste management and passenger transport, where she assumed various financial responsibilities. She became Director of Financial Control for the Véolia Group in 2007. She then joined Alstom in 2013 as Group Accounting and Tax Director. In November 2016, she joined EDF first as Director of Reporting, Planning and Finance IT Systems, then in 2019 as Director of Group Trajectory, Performance and Reporting, which brings together all Controlling functions. She is a graduate from ESCP.
In July 2025, she was appointed Group Executive Director in charge of Performance, Impact, Investment and Finance on an interim basis.
