Our commitments to SMEs
SME Access
EDF supports dynamic and innovative SMEs.
Therefore, since 2005, EDF has actively participated in the work of the association SME Pact. The purpose of this association is to support the development of SMEs, so that they can grow through a campaign of affirmative action by key accounts.
In 2012, EDF signed the Innovative SME Charter, whose goal is to strengthen cooperation between public enterprises and SMEs as a way of promoting innovation.
A company is an SME when it meets the following three criteria:
- a workforce of fewer than 250 people
- an annual turnover of less than € 50 million or a balance-sheet total of less than € 43 million
- 25% – or less-than 25% – ownership by a group
