Elocity Technologies

Elocity is striving to make the world a better place through innovations in clean energy space.

Testimony

"We are excited to collaborate with EDF Pulse to accelerate the EV adoption through connected EV world for a sustainable future."

Dr Arvind Kumar - COO of Elocity Technologies
The team

Mobility and energy are the twin pillars of urban transformation for sustainable living and both will require radical adaptation to meet demographic and economic growth without increasing congestion and pollution. Electric mobility integration is a uniquely complex issue because it requires the automobile, the city and the energy industry to not only work together, but in a close coordination, so as to optimize the return on the investment in fuel supply infrastructure (which in this case is electric vehicle charging systems and networks), sharing of the data to reduce the cost of electricity supply and real time management of the charging demand to further reduce the cost of charging for the end customers, capital investment needed, and operating expenses by the electric utilities and the cities. As of now, the electric mobility integration with the electricity system is limited to electric vehicle charging equipment having back office software systems capable of controlling the charge rates, which lacks a holistic approach from the city and electric utility perspective.

Elocity has built an interoperable, secure and scalable digital (Hyper Integrated Electric Vehicles - HIEV) for electric utilities and smart cities to monitor, manage and control residential electric vehicle (EV) charging load. HIEV enables grid-friendly EV charging infrastructure management and provides benefits to EV owners by allowing them to take advantage of incentives, while enabling benefits through improved grid capacity utilization.
