What about Fem’Energia ?

Since 2009, EDF,  WIN France and WIN Europe have organized jointly every year an Award event  named  “Fem’Energia” whose goals are:

  • Promote women’s participation in the nuclear energy field in order to give more visibility to women in scientific, technical and technological nuclear energy-related positions, and spotlight remarkable careers in nuclear energy field.
  • Attract young women and detect student profiles oriented towards scientific, technical and technological careers in nuclear energy field.
  • Recognize remarkable career paths deserving which must be encouraged

2017 Awards event : here we go !

Students Category

Female high-school and higher education students currently enrolled in the final graduation year (year 2016-2017) in an  establishment accredited by the  French Ministry of Education and preparing the following degrees, matching the respective award categories:

  • CAP, BEP, Baccalauréat Professionnel
  • TID, TUI, HNC, Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Bachelor’s Degree
  • University Masters, Engineering Degrees

The target schools and institutions must prepare to scientific, technical or technological disciplines with potential application in the nuclear energy field.
It is specified that candidates must apply for the category of prepared diploma during the year of the Award.

Professionals Category

  • Women working in France
  • Women working in a E.U. country, in the UK or in Switzerland at January 1st, 2017

Women  holding a professional position in the  nuclear energy field  and/or  involved in public communication and/or in academia or in mentoring activities related to the nuclear energy field having a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the nuclear energy field or in a related field.

Awards winners

Award  winners  and  the  Nominees  will receive  their  Prizes  at  the  time  of  Awards  ceremony  on October the 10th, 2017 :

Students Category

  • 1st prize :€ 2,000
  • 2nd prize : € 500
  • 3rd prize : € 150

Professionals Category

  • 1st prize : € 2,000
  • 2nd prize : € 750
  • 3rd prize : € 300
