Description of the offer
Within the department of Fuel Supply Chain, the missions of the Strategic Initiative Coordinator are:
- Coordinate the activities of the Fuel Supply Chain teams at Richland to ensure their coherence with the global strategy and report on the advancement of the actions defined in the Supply Chain Global RoadMap
- Prepare and make suggestions for the improvement of the Fuel Supply Chain efficiency in order to reach the targets defined by the management in alignment with the Global RoadMap
- Lead the various local Task Force and Projects for which Fuel Supply Chain is responsible according to the mandate given by the management
- Contribute to an assessment of the supply chain’s current strengths and weaknesses within its perimeter and propose improvement actions
- Identify the potential Make or Buy studies needed and take the lead on performing the Make or Buy studies according with the mandate given by the Supply Chain management
- Lead the roll-out of the priorities given by the management and in alignment with the Global RoadMap amongst supply chain stakeholders and external partners
- Support the various supply chain entities with the operational aspects of this roll-out
- Representing the supply chain in major industrial changes led by Richland site
- Support projects related to this strategic development of the supply chain
- Follow the Demand Management and monitor the coherency between the current strategy and the mid-term evolution of the demand
- Develop the link between Fuel Supply Chain America and Lynchburg site, especially Fuel Design & Fuel Contracts
Desired profile
Competencies :
Experience in the supply chain
Knowledge of project management, with experience in leading cross-functional projects
Ability to bring together multi-disciplinary teams and to work with external stakeholders, in particular customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities,
Abilities :
Analytical and summarising skills,
Open-mindedness and good interpersonal skills,
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills,
General knowledge of the industrial sector and its manufacturing processes,
Good negotiation, communication and coordination skills,
Education and experience
Holder of an engineering degree in industrial, mechanical or nuclear engineering, or in supply chain management
Experience in the nuclear sector is an advantage
