I think this is quite a commendable performance in an unfavourable general context.

I know that it is a busy morning today so I will walk you quickly through our third quarter sales so that we can spend a bit more time with Philippe Sasseigne, who is here with me today... I will also spend some time providing you with more information on the potential transaction with Dalkia that we recently announced and confirm our full-year target for 2013.

These results, as I will explain in a little while, show that the Company has recorded further progress. I would like to congratulate all EDF teams that have achieved this performance... I am going to sum up the key events of 2012, the lessons we can draw for them and I would like to talk about the main challenges EDF will face in 2013 and the prospects the Group can offer.

I am very pleased to welcome you to this presentation of our half-year results for the first six months of 2014, which you may have reviewed already this morning... The first slide is about the Group' s' operating performance. During the presentation of the full-year results, I mentioned that 2013 nuclear output was hampered, as you recall, by longer than anticipated maintenance outages, and that we needed to put in place measures to prevent this from reoccurring in 2014.
