What if your house learned from your habits to simplify your daily tasks? This is exactly what the Viaroom Home home automation controller does! What sets it apart is its artificial intelligence that enables it to analyse what you do at home to reproduce your daily life and automate the control of your domestic appliances. Turning the lights on and off, closing the doors, lowering the shutters, adjusting the heating, turning on the sprinklers in the garden... all of this is possible without lifting a finger! Viaroom Home constantly adapts to your lifestyle and therefore helps you to save energy.

Easy to install (in 5 minutes flat) and to use (no manual programming), this box has other advantages: its reasonable price, which makes it accessible and opens the doors of the smart house to as many people as possible.

The team

Collaboration between the members of the management is by no means a new thing - Alexandre, Cristian, Andras and Stefan have been working together at the telecommunications company ATES Networks since 2010. All graduates in computer science or AI from Stanford University, they have put their skills, particularly their Deep Learning skills, at the service of the Viaroom Home adventure.

4 questions to Viaroom Home

Where did you get the idea for this startup?
In 2010, the Viaroom team created ATES Networks, currently one of the most innovative companies in the field of multi-screen video services. In 2016, we understood that the revolution of AI assistants will (finally) make the home automation sector accessible to all. So we decided to create Viaroom Home, first in task-force mode, then as an independent startup in 2017.
Any recent good news?
Recent good news includes Viaroom Home being selected as one of the 12 finalists for the 2018 EDF Pulse Awards and the fantastic reception the product has had from users, partners and the press following its launch at the CES and in France in March. Our goal is to make home automation accessible and understandable for as many users as possible.
What is the most unexpected thing that your startup has made you do?
The Artificial Intelligence courses taken by our team with one of the creators of modern AI at Stanford University were unforgettable!
In what way does your project revolutionise your category?
We want to change the way we interact with our homes, by means of a highly innovative product that can learn by itself through AI and automate the operation of our home appliances seamlessly. To make the connected home accessible to all, Viaroom Home is both a completely autonomous brain that learns on its own on the basis of our daily and also a real help, capable of managing all connected objects around the home: several hubs, connected bulbs, smart thermostats, door and shutter openers, etc. With Viaroom Home, your connected objects work in harmony without unnecessary human intervention. It's real help at home!
