From the power line

Through low and medium voltage lines, the distribution network sends electricity from transport grids to clients (homes, companies, local authorities).
Managed by Enedis in France, the distribution system operator managed in a total independent manner, the distribution network is present in 95% of metropolitan France and guarantees the continuity of public service energy supply.

From the power plant
to the distribution network

The electricity transmission system is a public service. Managed by RTE (Réseau de Transports d'Electricité), the transmission system operator managed in a total independent manner, which uses, maintains and develops high and very high voltage electric lines. These deploy electricity from the power plants to the distribution networks.
