Using new technological advances to communicate.
What is Light Fidelity (Li-Fi)?
Light Fidelity, or Li-Fi, technology makes it possible to send information with light, with a throughput 10 times that of WiFi.
This communications technology is based on the use of visible-spectrum light. By switching an LED light on and off thousands of times each second, information can be sent by creating a frequency. Human eyes cannot see very-high-speed frequency changes; they are used to transfer any type of data at high speeds (video, audio, websites, geopositioning, etc.) to tablets and smartphones.
Since Li-Fi does not interfere with electronic devices, it can be used in sensitive environments such as hospitals, schools and airplanes.
