Project description:Crisis managementIn 2018, Storm Ophelia was the most severe weather crisis that Ireland ever known in 50 years. Our client, a major Irish utility, requested the support of EDF IN to reconnect the service to nearly 400,000 homes left without power. An experienced FIRE (Rapid Intervention Force) French team was sent urgently, with its own equipment.

Project description:Proof of concept for the prioritization of investmentsOur client was interested in Asset Management solutions developed in France. EDF IN sat up a POC for an investments prioritizing algorithm based on GIS data.
Thanks to machine learning and Big Data (incident data assessment, network characteristics, etc.), this solution enables a more efficient network renewal investment planning.
This POC helped our client prioritize its investments on nearly 15,000 LV entry points (overhead and underground).
