Thursday 3 March
A conference for local residents and locally elected representatives will be jointly hosted by the plant and the Prefecture at 6 p.m. in the visitors’ centre. Its purpose? To inform the public about the current iodine tablet distribution campaign and engage in discussions with attendees to answer all their questions.
Wednesday 16 March
Come and find out about the wide range of nuclear career opportunities, which will be presented at 6 stands respectively covering the areas of mechanical maintenance, chemistry/environment, project management/scheduling, operations/testing, instrumentation & control/electrical maintenance and industrial logistics. Three 2-hour slots will be available from 10 a.m., 1.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!
Saturday 19 March
As part of the "Océanes" initiative being run by the Surfrider Foundation (http://www.initiativesoceanes.org/
), a clean-up operation at Sciotot beach is being organised by the Pieux town hall. Reflecting EDF’s determination to protect the site’s natural environment, the Flamanville visitors’ centre will be involved in this event at which grown-ups and kids will be given the opportunity to take part in clean-up and waste-sorting activities.
