Electric Days - Innovation - Tractofit’Elec

To make it easier for farms to transition to low-carbon agriculture, EDF is working with E-Neo, Ouest Agri and Pays-de-la-Loire Regional Agricultural Chamber, to convert ICE tractors to electric. The recharging solution trialled on this project will enable the energy stored in a tractor battery to be sent back to the power grid or used for other purposes on the farm. The electrical supply will favour local renewable resources. A version using hydrogen will be studied in a second phase.
