Located in Kern County, California, the Catalina solar project will be developed, built and owned by enXco while SDG&E will buy the power generated under a 25- year power purchase agreement. The power plant will be built in two phases with the first 60 MWp expected to be online by the end of 2012 and the remaining 70 MWp to be operational by mid 2013 . This project is subject to California Public Utilities Commission approval .
