Taishan nuclear power plant china

The development of the Taishan nuclear power plant is a significant milestone in EDF's partnerships building in China. EDF has been proud to work with Chinese nuclear operator China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) on Daya Bay and Ling Ao power plants since 1984. As a result in 2008, the two companies set up the Taishan Nuclear Power Joint Venture Co Ltd (TNPJVC) to construct and operate two nuclear reactors based on EPR (European Pressurised Reactor) technology in Taishan, Guangdong province.
