Sunai in the Smart Renewables category, with a technology that allows optimizing the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic generation plants, and Wenu Work in the Smart Factory category, with a solution that allows the digitalization of critical variables to improve decision-making processes and make more efficient use of energy, generating significant savings.

EDF is encouraging the on-line community to cast their votes by logging on to its website www.pulse.edf.com from 7 April to 3 May 2015 . On-line users can choose their favourite project from each of the three distinct categories. EDF launched the EDF Pulse Awards to promote innovation and be actively involved in tomorrow 's future.

To compete, the innovative projects need to fit one of two categories, Smart City or Smart Factory, both of which are related to EDF's activities in Brazil. The winner of each category will receive a R $20, 000 prize and benefit from EDF's help in developing their project.
