The use of this operating experience was a crucial factor in successfully completing the initial phases of the Taishan 1 construction project. CGN, which oversaw the construction phase of the project, capitalised on more than 30 years of experience in the construction of nuclear power plants... The first reactors to benefit from this experience are the two Hinkley Point C units currently being built in the UK . The two companies are also partners in the Sizewell C EPR project, as well as in the Bradwell B project which is based on Hualong technology.
