A true circular economy project, the plant will generate positive impacts on the agricultural sector and the Ivorian agro-industrial sector, in particular through the development of a local biomass sector using waste.

With this technology, fuel (mainly wood, waste from wood processing industries and agricultural plant waste) is fed directly into heating systems capable of producing either heat alone or electricity and heat simultaneously (co- generation)... With this technology, organic waste (household waste, sludge from sewage treatment plants, agricultural effluents, etc .) is first transformed into biogas, through biological degradation or fermentation.

This major milestone should lead to the launch of construction works mid 2020 and to the commissioning of the plant mid 2023 .
