Cyclife teams contributed to the rail transfer landmark of more than 1,000 stainless steel drums of low-level waste to Repository site | EDF Cyclife

The planning project of the rail transfer from the Winfrith Magnox site to the Low Level Waste Repository site has started five years ago, this project of transfer has involved Nuclear Waste Services, Magnox Ltd, Nuclear Transport Solutions, and sub-contractors... Winfrith Magnox site ceased its operation in 1990 . More than 1 000 drums of waste originated from the Steam Generating Heavy Water Reactor at drums were placed in the Treated Radwaste Store (TRS) awaiting transfer to the Harwell Intermediate- Level Waste facility.

Taishan 1, world's first EPR connected to the grid | EDF Asie

It is operated by TNPJVC, a joint venture established between CGN (51 %), EDF (30 %) and the provincial Chinese electricity company Yuedian (19 %) . The construction of Taishan 1 began in 2009, whilst that of Taishan 2 began in 2010 . These two units were respectively the third and fourth EPR reactors to have started being built worldwide.

Sanmenxia Urban Heating | EDF Asie

For this purpose, a joint venture has been established between EDF (65 %) and Datang Group (35 %) in July 2016 . The construction and renovation of the city's heating network started the same year... The operation of the network is based on the heat recovered from two existing Datang power plants, one of which (DSPC) is partly owned by EDF (35 %) . 2x17 km backbone pipes have been built to connect the thermal power plants to the distribution networks in several industrial and business districts of the city.
