Relationships between EDF and Zawawi Group were initiated in early 2016 when a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to develop services activities in the areas of thermal power generation and high voltage networks. Also present were Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Masdar, and Dominique Minière, EDF Group Senior Executive Vice President, Nuclear and Thermal .
