Everywhere in the world, the reception given to renewable energies for producing electricity is very consensual: over 70 % of respondents are favorable to this for hydraulic energy, over 80 % for wind power and almost 90 % for solar. At the other end of the spectrum, only 25 % still want coal; but while it is longer an option in Europe, it is still acceptable for 31 % of Asians and 36 % of Africans and people in the Middle East, who are still very dependent on this energy .
