Cyclife moves forward in Germany with the award of two long-term contracts from PreussenElektra for the dismantling and the treatment of 16 steam generators... Cyclife Sweden has been awarded on May 12 th, 2021 a long-term contract for the transport and treatment of 16 steam generators from the German nuclear operator PreussenElektra.

The Group adjusted its nuclear output target for 2016 to between 408 and 412TWh, to take into account the consequences on the duration of the outage of the handling accident that occurred on a steam generator at Paluel's reactor 2... During a handling operation on a used steam generator, carried out as part of its replacement, it has switched to its height to be grounded.

2016 targets update and 2017 nuclear output outlook | EDF FR

As indicated in the press release dated 19 July 2016, additional controls are currently conducted, in order to demonstrate that the steam generators such as those referred to in the information notice published by the ASN on 23 June 2016 (1) can operate in a fully safe mode. These controls aim in particular at measuring carbon concentration in various points of steam generators bottoms, which have been manufactured many years ago by JCFC (Japan Casting and Forging Corporation) acting as a subcontractor for Areva.
